Faith Formation

The church recognizes that parents are the first and best teachers of faith for their children.  Our program offers support and structure to the formation that is happening at home.  We strive to integrate the meaning and message of the Word of God, the development of a community of faith, the celebration of Liturgy and worship, and to promote a life of service and discipleship.

The Faith Formation program offers weekly sessions for Kindergarten through Grade 6, Children's Liturgy of the Word during the 11:00 am Mass, and Sacramental preparation.

Children's Liturgy of the Word

During the 11:00 Mass on specific Sundays during the school year.  Children's Liturgy of the Word is not held during the summer months but will resume after Labor Day.

Children who are at least 4 years old but have not yet received 1st Eucharist are invited to participate in Children's Liturgy of the Word.  For their safety and protection, children who participate in Children's Liturgy of the Word will now be required to register for this program.  However, no fee will be charged.

Please click here to print a Children's Liturgy of the Word registration form for 2010-2011.

If you would like more information on Children's Liturgy or to Volunteer to help with this program, please email Madeline Fretto.

The annual end of the year Alleluia Mass was joyfully celebrated on April 25, 2010.  The children of our parish in Grades 1 through 6 processed into the Church during 11am Mass waving doves representing the 15,462 prayers that were said during Lent for the people of earthquake ravaged Haiti.  Please visit the Parish Photos Page to see pictures from this wonderful celebration.

Congratulations to our First Communicants

Our parish family recently welcomed 66 - 2nd graders and their families as they received First Eucharist. Please congratulate them and keep them in your prayers!
