The Fifth Week of Lent: Gratitude
The palmist says, "The Lord has done great things for us.  We are filled with joy."

God our Father, you gave us your only Son, Jesus Christ, to redeem us.
Help us, the parishioners of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, to pledge ourselves to live a faithful life of prayer, fasting and almsgiving during this Lenten season.  May all of our sacrifices help us to better understand the sacrifices Jesus made for us.  AMEN!

PRAYER:  Spend 5 minutes daily in quite prayer calling to mind all the blessings bestowed upon you.

FASTING:  Fast from complaining.  Compliment one person each day this week.

ALMSGIVING: Write a note of appreciate for someone who serves our parish community.  Continue to support the Rice Bowl and the food pantry of the St. Vincent de Paul Society with nonperishable food donations.
