At Immaculate Conception, we embrace the concept of "Comprehensive Youth Ministries". The goal of Comprehensive Youth Ministries is to utilize the 8 components of youth ministry to ensure that teens are fully engaged in all aspects of our Church. Most people think of youth ministries as "religion classes" - "catechesis" (learning about your faith) is one of the 8 components but youth ministries is so much more than just religion classes.

Communal Penance Service
Tuesday, March 23rd at
The Sacrament of Penance is such a gift! It can be very hard to do -- it can be intimidating, embarrassing -- but once absolution is given, you will walk out of that confessional feeling like a trillion bucks. Christ, in His most Holy Wisdom, gave us this precious Sacrament to literally and truly bestow His grace upon us through His priests as a means of forgiving us and assuring us of His mercy and love for us. This evening will consist of a group penance service followed by an opportunity for individual confession. To receive workshop credit, students must sign up by March 12th. You will then receive a detailed prep handout to help you approach the Sacrament in the spirit of prayer after a true examination of conscious.
